happenings

*What a wonderful, eventful week!! It all started one week ago on Tuesday. It was my daddy's birthday. (turned 47) we were invited to a dinner and it was so fun to visit and laugh and celebrate our dad.

*On wednesday I had my 3rd boutique with my bows. It went really well and I was invited to do another one in December. Also I have been invited to have a booth at the Expo center in May. that is very big for me and I am very excited!!

Also wed. was my grandpas (my dad's dads) birthday. happy birthday grandpa!

*on thursday was FINALLY my pre natal appt. its the day I have been waiting for for many weeks. I had an ultrasound and saw the baby and the heart. thats what we wanted to see was the heart beating!! 

The other day me and some of the kids were out drawing on the sidewalk, now I am NOT talented whatsoever when it comes to drawing so bear with me at my family portrait:

*One of those days last week we had a girls night out

*Thursday night 5 of us met for dinner before the movie (twilight) here is some pics of us at dinner. The shirts were all made by my hubby! thanks babe! 

P.S. so, I was on camera duty. I was supposed to take ALL the pics of the night and email them to everyone. yeah, I  was too excited (for the movie of course) and didn't take any. for the movie we had 15 tickets and 14 people came. so fun!! Too bad a ticket got wasted!! (sorry you had to work misty!) thank you SO much for getting tickets Bridget (sp?)!!!! what an awesome night!! Minus mine and heather's coughs!!

SO our movie started at 12:45 am so we got home late! I was coughing so much that that night (friday) was mine and daniels date night and instead of fun, after dinner we sat at an insta- care so I could get cough medicine to help me sleep! Thank you so much daniel for missing bowling and sleep thanks to my ridiculous cough and never once complaining or making me feel bad! 

well the cough medicine never helped, so my weekend sucked. BUT I had a killer time at my NIA dance class tonight!

**Oh and tomorrow (wed.) Heather and I are going to see twilight again, but this time we are bringing our husbands!

SO my forever long post is done. I love having this blog to help me remember what I do with my life!!

in case you can't read the shirt, it says I'm gonna be a big sister. This has been a hard secret to keep for the last... ever! ha ha. A lot of people caught on cause I was always sick.  but I truly do appreciate friends who go out of their way to ask how I am feeling. Thank you especially to Amber, Kathy and Heather. you girls keep me sane. And asking me constantly how I am feeling sometimes every single day. I love you ladies!!

i posted this awhile ago but thought I would do it again. If you want unique shirts to wear to the show or to wear anytime like me, get one. if you live near murray, just tell me what you want and size, you can probably just come get it from us, or we can meet you. It might be cheaper?? I dunno. anyway, they are AWESOME!!! I get compliments when I wear mine. the picture of the shirt is not the actual shirt we use, but the picture of whats on the shirt is it. yuck!!

I HATE being sick!! Also, poor Ireland is sick too. Except we have two totally different problems! But both sicknesses are going around. No fun! 

Anyway, so as I have done a whole lot of nothing but sleep today (thankfully Ireland has slept most the day too, or I would be in big trouble sleeping while she is up!!) to help me feel better. 

 SO....I have got zero bows made, and I am getting short on time until I need to have a ton ready. LUCKILY I have an extremely awesome husband who asked if he could get me some ribbon that I need tonight since I don't have the energy to walk around the store. ALSO he is working endless hours on my website, and for the boutique I did a couple weekends ago, he stayed up until either 2 or 3 am, getting cards made for me, and watching Ireland while I work, and printing business cards, then got up early to help me heat seal all the edges of my bows, made sure I had stuff to eat, also he stayed the entire time at both boutiques to help set up, talk to people and watch Ireland. I am too drowsy to think of other things he did. I guarantee I would not have made it this far without his help. Daniel, thank you so much! I love you.

NOW..... I AM GOING TO BED, just had to share my thoughts (and whine a little!)

EYE CAN SEE!!

HOLY MOLY!! I can see! 

I had to go in on valentines this year to get my eyes checked. I went in to the walmart  opthamologist. (yeah I know)  and they were closing soon but the dr said he could squeeze me in real quick. i was in and out and you know those eye test where they ask is one or two clearer? well we barely started that and I kept saying none were that clear. all of a sudden he said, ok I got your prescription. I was like sweet and paid about $300 b/c I had no vision insurance. get the glasses way late because they kept not getting mine in the shipment. this happened twice then the prescription came in wrong so they sent it back. ANYWAY those glasses sucked. I could never see (isn't that the point???????)  

I would be squinting to see something and be like where are my glasses? I would be wearing them!! yeah they sucked!!! so I have been out $300 AND still couldn't see. So my most awesomest friend misty took me to this amazing opthamologist where she works. I got contacts today. I can see!!!!! and i get new glasses too. I brought in my awesome walmart prescription for this new dr  to see. He looked at it and was like WHAT?? it was way off. figures. anyway I am happy because my EYES can see. hence my title.

The first snow

Awwww. the first day of snow. Well, for us anyway, the first time it actually snowed in utah a few weekends ago, we were in Moab, and when we got home it was all melted. So this is a first for us this season, and in a way it is Ireland's first time seeing and somewhat understanding the snow. Last year she was so tiny she didn't even get it this year she had so much fun!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!

Let me first start out by saying I am not a fan of Halloween. I am sorry, but it never has really been fun for me since I started getting older. I wanted to have fun this year. I wanted Ireland to grow up enjoying each holiday, and seeing mommy and daddy having fun. I am slowly getting Halloween decorations for my home *ugh* BUT after the entire day and night was over, I must  admit: I had SO much fun! really. Here is how it all went down.

My good friend from high school Andrea got married Friday. yes, on Halloween! crazy right? it was so awesome, and different and I thought it was cool to do something so unique. Costumes were mandatory. yikes. that mean I really did have to dress up! Ireland already had her costume (which she is ADDICTED to. lol more on that story in a bit) she was a pony. Daniel dressed up in camo and I.... well I just threw stuff together thanks to my moms box-o-halloween costumes. I found a dress, fish net tights, some bandana thing, crimped half my hair, ratted the rest, too much make-up and lashes and I was set! lol. still don't know what I was!

Part 2 of the day. getting ready for the halloween party!!!  (This month has been party central at my house!) It was SOOO much fun. I took plenty of "getting ready for the party" pics but sadly I didn't get ANY of anyone who came. Too busy having fun I guess :)

ok. part 3. Ireland's obsession with her costume. She has tried it on a couple of times, and cried every time we take it off. SO we decided she is a whole other person in this costume. She is on some happy/silly/ cute kick while wearing this magical costume! now, she already has so much personality and already is those before mentioned things. BUT when wearing this she is EXTRA happy! I don't get it. she squeals and giggles constantly and spins around dancing and singing THE WHOLE TIME!! and take it off, she cries. So we decided lately Ireland is obsessed.

It was weird to see it without her in it. lol

we were hyper and joking that the costume took over Ireland. she is gone.  (Or something like that.) in this pic megan was like WHY??? lol. sorry but it was sooo funny at the time. (even though I am cracking up right now!)

the next day. (saturday) she found the costume, brought it to me, sat down and started crying, so I put just the hood on her head. Her eyes lit up, she touched the head, squealed and got up giggling and spinning around. the costume does not even need to be all the way on to expose its powers. Thursday

My sister Mekell and I watch kids together in my home every tuesday and thursday. we each watch two children plus I have Ireland. It is never ever boring. We always have adventures and do fun things. We decided this last thursday to take some pics of our day. 

Ireland is trying to feed herself. She actually does it pretty well. Oh... so in this picture my sister and I were cutting stuff out of magazines and I let Ireland eat on the floor... with no pants on. Because of the magazines, her bowl was going everywhere. oh plus I forgot a bib. A- class parenting I tell you! no, just simple things I didn't worry so much about
