well hello 3rd trimester....
I am 27 weeks. Still nauseated. Still haven't got my energy back. I have the serious blues. I barely sleep. I still have the pregnancy "hormone" headaches. Still not patient, not social and not having a jolly good time. I have so many good things to be grateful for. SO many, but I am being unintentionally selfish and thinking everything is wrong with me or the world or... something. boo hoo right??
I have a HORRIBLE case of the winter blues and I think another problem is I have 3 HUUUUGE events happening so very close in my life and the fact they are within reach but not here yet makes me impatient and sad.
Those 3 things are:
we are going to Hawaii in 8 days!! yay Thurs the 3rd we are out of here for 8 days! It was going to be 10 days but it was almost $1000 more to fly back on a weekend. Happy for ANY amount of time!
The next big event is I am going to have a baby. In May. It is quickly (but not really) approaching
The last big event is we are... (shhh) moving! To nice, sunny, warm St. George. I am so home sick for St. George. We move June 1st. That is 4 years to the day that we have lived here. The plan is supposed to be I have the baby (whenever that is- my kids all come early) then stay here a few days so family and friends can visit and see her then I will spend a week or so at my moms so she can get in some new baby time as well as with my other girls (my mom is NOT happy about the move) and that way I have help as Daniel will be moving our stuff to our new place and un packing what we will need most until I am well enough to help. I know I might SEEM crazy for moving RIGHT after I have a baby but it will be fine and my hunky, buff, super man of a husband will have help and is a good man to get it done. We will be in an apartment until the town homes we want have a spot for us.
We have told very few people about our trip and move and will soon but since I needed a ramble/vent session I blabbed away here. :) Don't tell anyone k?
ha ha does anyone even read this old blog anymore?? lol
let's hope my mood improves I need a better attitude. stat.

Help me
I am STILL sick! We have this blasted influenza rocking our house and it sucks. I got, my husband got it, my sister who lives with us and both my daughters got it. Same time. It has been a joke here all week struggling to see who can take care of who. I had to go to the ER to get fluids to make sure I stay hydrated and they monitored the baby while I was there. She looks good! I have also lost 4 lbs this week :( sucky. Being pregnant and barely gaining enough weight as it is , then LOSING weight= no bueno
Anyway so because of that and the fact that my laptop is busted I can not get any blog time in. so sad. I have some super adorable pics to post too. I miss my laptop :( bah
Well in good news.... we leave for our fabulous trip/vacation/getaway in 18 days!!!! eek! It's getting closer!!
Ugh I am going back to bed. It takes great strength to keep my body up this long at a time. *dramatic sigh*

Random facts about today
My head is killing me so I slept in until 10:30 this morning. thankfully my husband realized our kids couldn't take care of themselves and got up to help.
I missed something I was supposed to be to at 9 this morning because I couldn't get up
Ireland is singing at a baptism this afternoon. She has a cough, runny nose, raspy voice, dark circles, keeps yawning. finally got her temp down. Crossing my fingers for her.
We leave for our trip in 33 days!! We made Ireland a countdown chart where she puts stickers on each day so she can see how much time is left. I get equally if not more excited to put stickers on to see how much time we have left.
I am nesting. Bad. But only at night. So I tend to stay up until 3 am steaming, sterilizing, washing, organizing, etc. but during the day I am useless.
Leighton is still asleep. it's 11:24 am. This is not unusual for her (well she WAS up late last night) but normally I put her to bed 7:30-8pm and she will easily sleep in until 9-11am depending if sister wakes her up or not. Then she still sleeps 3-4 hour naps. She is fine when she is awake, very alert, active, talkative. She is just like me and loves her sleep.
Ireland on the other hand barely sleeps at all. Little stinker. I out her down same time as Lei, but Ireland won't fall asleep until as late as 10:30 and is still up between 730- 8:30. WHY?? sleep better kid!!
This was my chance to ramble, not get laundry done, and rest my aching back.
The end
:)

Let's do this! (day 24)
I am so finishing this Blog challenge! I will. I know I will.....I hope I will :)

This is my unborn child. My little Princess. My Ashlyn.
ok here is the challenge I am referring to in case any one doesn't know. Click here for that.
ok I am on day 24. The challenge: A photo of something that means a lot to me.

This is my unborn child. My little Princess. My Ashlyn.
Besides all the obvious reasons why she means a lot to me; I am lucky I get her at all.
You see I have health problems and when I was pregnant with Ireland, I was told because my Ovarian cysts keep rupturing it causes scar tissue and is making all my organs adhere together so I should be lucky to be pregnant with her and if I got ANY more kids I was LUCKY. They kept saying lucky. Well then when Ireland was about 9 months old I had a surgery where they found out I had endometriosis. Treatment: either a hysterectomy, a shot to make me go through menopause, a permanent- non reversible birth control... or try to get pregnant. Well duh!! We were already trying. So after 3 months of trying I was pregnant with Leighton. My dr. was SHOCKED! Endometriosis usually causes infertility PLUS my other before mentioned health issues. Well She was SUPPOSED to be here!!
so then Dan and I wanted to try for #3. I KNEW there was a huge chance I wouldn't get pregnant at all. I KNEW it would be painful. (with endometriosis, as soon as you get pregnant, the pain and symptoms subside. Well for me they don't. At all) I knew IF we got pregnant it could take months of trying. We were aware and prepared for that. Well if you can believe it I got pregnant our very first time trying. Once again the Dr. was shocked. Sounds like God knows something the doctors don't ;)
anyway the point is this is yet again a miracle baby to me. She will probably be our last as my body gets worse and worse with each baby. I have more issues now internally then when I started and that breaks my heart but I need to be grateful I have 3 children. Be grateful they are happy, healthy and smart and developing as they should.
night!

no idea for a title :)
Well I am pretty sure I suck at blogging. I failed my challenge, haven't posted about a single thing I said I would. I stopped posting pictures for some reason. So sad. So now I will do a post of pictures to slowly get caught up. yes there are 20 pictures. Yes I will comment on most of them. Yes I have 16,000 pictures in my iphoto that need to be organized and what, not so these pictures are super random. sweet.
My 3 year old is funky, crazy, silly, and photogenic. She knows it. EVERY single time I try to take pictures, she goes off on these poses she invents. Sometimes she just asks me to take pictures of her. Sure... ok. I love to- I just stink at taking pictures and it's even harder when she is always moving! :)
98% of the time Leighton wanders over, stands next to Ireland and says "cheese." Half the time not even smiling. Just standing there. Oh don't mind in this one she has a Mister Potato head ARM in her ear! Notice in this and the next few she has that or a finger in her ear. Yeah ANOTHER infection in BOTH ears. ugh

Tea party! Check out the baby's earrings! We love dress ups, tea parties, dance parties, barbie parties, no clothes parties (they make these up. I swear) etc. We know how to have a good time. my sis threw this tea party for them

My camera memory card died so I only got one shot of Ireland sledding. Her first time ever and I couldn't capture it. She LOVED it! and would stick one arm up and wave to everyone. lol Of course I got none of Leighton sledding. She and I took a giant inflatable... dinosaur or rhino or something down several times and she loved it too!

Looks like sister has some competition!

(don't worry, I totally took those boots off after I saw these pics.)

(don't worry, I totally took those boots off after I saw these pics.) this is just to show Lei is getting curls like sister! yes!!! Too bad Ireland is losing hers. :( SO bummed!

Bright eyes. Right after her nap. No glasses and she seems naked to me without them. Super adorable though :)

lei sleeping on her new bunk bed! She does pretty well. Oh, we also have a safety gate/railing thing up on it now. Ps guess how mad I was on a scale of 1-10 when I saw the wallpaper ripped?? ha ha oh well. the funny thing is... it WASN'T the 1 year old. Know any 3 year olds who might have done that?! stinker.

tough little princess
I just came across a blog of a girl whose little baby girl ended up in primary's with RSV and Bronchiolotis (or is it the same thing??) anyway her story had me bawling. I felt so bad. The memories flooded over me. The story was almost IDENTICAL to ours for when we had our little Leighton there with the exact same thing when she was 10 months old. I kept most the details out but kept family updated through facebook as best as I could. I did a brief repeat on here and would like to tell the whole story again and have it saved here. I want to not remember the sad parts but see how tough our little monster was and is. What a fighter, a champ! She struggled but kept fighting and I want her to one day look back and read it and know how proud of her we were. I will go look through my pictures and old fb posts to get details and do this post soon. It is important to me and it helps open my eyes how precious and amazing and special these kids are. I believe they are here on borrowed time and in a blink they could be gone. I had moments where I was sure we were going to lose her; so to have her here sound asleep in her big girl bed makes me grateful and appreciate the time I still have with her. I sure love my daughters...... all 3 of them :)
