Leighton's blessing day!

Sweet Leighton Hallie, we sure do love you. You were blessed on  Sunday, August 30, 2009.
We chose to bless you at home. In the privacy and comfort of our back yard filled with so many friends and family who all love you so much. They all were saying how beautiful you looked in your perfect white dress. You were so calm and quiet. Either sleeping, or looking around quietly observing. Sometimes giving someone an adorable smile. We blessed you at 2 months old. We waited until then because we needed to make sure important family members could come. We are so glad you were born into this family. Glad your daddy has the Priesthood and was able to give you a beautiful, special blessing just for you. It made mommy cry. A lot :)

Leighton, here are some pics of your special day!

While we were waiting for one last person, your Papa got us all singing our favorite primary songs. It was pretty fun. This song was popcorn on the apricot tree (just kidding, I don't know what it was called, but those are some of the words) As you can see, sissy is hamming it up for the crowd

only a SMALL portion of the food we had. (it was dessert)

we had some of your cute pics set up for people to see.

Some people chose to sit on the grass. The kids had toys to keep them entertained

more music with Papa

and this is you with your other Papa.
Love you sweet angel baby!!
