What a great day! Filled with festivities and FUN

The day was so much fun! (Saturday) We started the day by playing and napping, then going to the Utah Arts Festival, which was way awesome! we ended the day at the westfest.... here is the pictures and stories behind them:

So, I say many times how every morning I wake up to the happiest baby in her room, just talking and "singing". I hear her on the monitor, and that is what wakes me up. I love it!!! So I heard her this morning, and get my camera, and run in there and take a picture before I say anything. Here she is: gorgeous and happy. An every day event

totally obsessed with this chair! I put her in it, She loved it!  She was like hitting her hands on it, and giggling, and smiling, i took her off and she was like uh, uh, uh. (that means: put me back on that!!)

watching Ethan and Pedro go to town on the instruments that were part of the " instrument petting zoo" that my father in law was a part of. it was so cool to see all the children getting to touch and try all the different instruments. It sounded cool

oh, so we get home, and where is Ireland?? stuck under the play pen. was I surprised?? not really. :) but she got mad, and trying to get out. And thought, for some reason pulling her bow would help. 

She broke the bow I made her! ha ha. So, I had to take a picture at my annoyed kid, before I saved her. ha ha best mom ever!! Really. I am

Westfest!

This is a fun carnival thing that we have in West valley,  with games and rides, food, then fireworks! It was fun!! (we did this the same day)

Miss hair do!!

I love that her hair is getting longer! and that she is so good about letting me do her hair. She tries to play when I do it, but never cries or tries to escape. I keep buying the cutest baby hair stuff. it is so fun to play with her hair

This was just for fun. we bought the curlers that night and put them in before bed, just to try them out. she not only let me put them in, she also left them in! Definitely something I will keep doing

we had just gotten back in town, and put her in some sweats to play, she has the craziest hair some days. (not just lazy days like the one in this picture!)

Oh, she looks so big here! I love her head bands still too, even though the new clips and pony tails are fun, I can't give up these ones

Ireland and Bailey. they are so cute together! Whenever Ireland sees a picture of her or her brother Taytan, she smiles and squeals and gets so excited

They are so funny. I don't think they even knew I was taking pictures of them. Ireland could stand like this all day in there, watching kids play or watching me clean, anything, she is just happiest standing, or trying to walk

Sorry, this is actually just to show how big she is! look how tall she is getting. She better quit, because she might thin out, then she will lose those "bull dog" cheeks as my brother puts it. Or he has also referred to them as "plump, creamy cheeks like powdered, sugared raspberry filled donuts. LOL. so, so, so true

look at them! So darling! Oh, I see her poor scratch on her face, the wanting to stand, and falling, and hitting her head stage has begun. It's so sad.

ok, So I have a lot to blog about and some fun pics that I was going to do later...but I am just too excited right now and have to share my happy story that just happened. So... Ireland totally crawled.... forward! believe it. I was talking to my mother in law and we looked over and she was just cruising along. Now I know she probably already should have been doing this by now, but she wasn't. she can walk holding onto just one of my fingers and stand briefly alone, but this is exciting because I have been waiting for her to go forward and stop getting stuck. ha ha, ok I am done.... getting a new blog up later this day... stay tuned

Let's get this vacation started!! (Arizona)

I don't care who says Arizona is not fun or it's too hot. We really, really enjoyed ourselves. We had fun swimming, and fun at the wedding and reception, and being bums, because it was our vacation!! The ONLY thing I would do different, is plan it for longer next time!!! Ok, we all know I get picture happy. And need to document every detail of everything. But the stuff I blog about is more for me. And to have for memories. So here is a bazillion posts and pictures. But that's what I love, so here ya go....

Airplane

Ireland's first airplane ride. She did so well. Slept a lot of it, but so happy and playful and everyone got a kick out of her. BUT that was on the way there..... On the way back... yikes! Our plane was super late taking off. We sat in the plane forever, so she slept at that point. Which did not last long. She was not horrible, but she needed a nap terribly. She was just bored and tired. Poor thing. Poor us. But the guy next to me said she was not bad at all. And told me stories of other babies that have been on flights with him. Man! So I guess she handled it well??? hmmm. no pics of the flight home, just the ones there. let's just remember the happy times
